Where to buy swimwear in London

Where to buy Swimwear in London

Our climate is cold, but with our ever-growing appetite for luxury holidays we are certainly in search of luxury swimwear all year round.  In this post we round up our favourite shops and department stores that curate and showcase the hottest, designer swimwear currently out there.

Harrods

Harrods, it seems has the largest and most impressive selection of luxury swimwear and resort wear on offer.  As well as stocking well-known luxury brands such as Eres, La Perla it also showcases lesser known labels. We particularly liked American brand Oye swimwear, on our last visit. The changing rooms are beautifully lit, so important when one is faced with the daunting prospect of swimwear shopping in London mid- winter with no tan and holiday body prep!

Salt

Close by is independent boutique Salt that sells everything for the modern, globe-trotting woman.  We adored the understated luxury of  K Jacques shoes, on our last trip we also discovered the new collection by Evarae.  A new British brand spearheaded by an ex employee of Heidi Klein.

B London

B London takes a decidedly more edgy and eclectic approach to their swimwear buy.  Expect to see quirky independent brands, Beach Riot, For Love and Lemons alongside more established brands such as Vix and Mara Hoffman.  They also have a super cool outpost on the party island of Ibiza which is swarmed every summer by celebs and those in the know.  Owner Anna Grotkamp has an addictive Insta account @blondonchick – follow her on her glamorous travels across the world.

Selfridges

Recently opened as part of their new refurbishment, Selfridges swimwear department always wows, they have a great selection of Australian brands such as Seafolly, Jets and uber luxe Zimmerman.  Each season they also showcase new and interesting labels such as the super cute line Emma Pake.  Same swimwear is also stocked.

Fenwicks Bond Street

Our final mention goes to Fenwick of Bond Street.  This pint-sized department is small but still delivers.  The swimwear is housed on the first floor, flooded by natural daylight which makes shopping frankly so much nicer.  The level of service is outstanding with the staff super eager to please.  We loved trying on Prism’s structured one pieces.
