Sa Caleta Ibiza

Sa Caleta Ibiza

Sublime Views at Sa Caleta

If it’s the view you are after then this humble beachside restaurant in the most sublime setting is where you should head.

Situated in in the South of the island, Sa Caleta is unusually open all year round hence a favourite with the locals.  We enjoyed typical Spanish fare.  Padron peppers to begin followed by a skilfully made paella with punchy flavours and liberal portions of seafood and robust fish. Simple, fresh, local produce are the order of the day and when combined with such a spectacular backdrop the meal becomes elevated to a truly exceptional plain.

This is the perfect place for a long leisurely lunch, followed by an amble along the dramatic, rocky coastline.  The bay below is pretty and sheltered meaning that even in Easter we were able to dip our feet in the water and catch some rays.
